FAQs Related to Lithium Battery
Battery is best operated when using between 20% and 80% state of charge. Charging after 80% heats up the battery and discharging the battery below 20% strains the battery.
0.2C rate charger is best suited for maximum battery life and using higher rating charger reduces the battery life.
Lithium batteries operate safely when used between 15C and 45C. If operating conditions are higher or lower, do not fast charge and do not use electric vehicle in higher performance mode.
Performance is linked to power (watts) and as battery voltage goes down, battery need to provide higher current to provide the same power.
Most electric vehicles do not expose the battery pack and even if it does, batteries with IP65 is water resistant during rains and batteries with IP67 are capable of immersion in water for a while.
Electric vehicle batteries have enough insulation and protection to protect from electric shocks. But one must use dry hands while dealing with batteries.
2 Wheeler and 3 Wheeler battery design life is up to 5 years if maintained well and during normal use. That is why we provide up to 3 years warranty on them. Although 2 Wheeler battery uses cells with lower cycle life, 2 Wheeler batteries are less frequently used (up to four cycles in one week) and on the other hand 3 Wheeler battery uses cells with higher cycle life, but they are typically used for more than one cycle per day.
